Built in 1900, The Fishtail General Store has been the community's source of food, sundrees, contact with too-rare-seen neighbors and area information for over a century. Having seen a number of owners come and go over the many decades, the Fishtail General Store has served as the community's post office and (some say) the stagecoach stop in addition to the general store it remains today. While shopping or visiting our store, you are experiencing a genuine piece of Montana history!
